The hotel was fantastic. In a perfect location for all of Berlins great attractions. We had room only but wished we'd added breakfast as it looked very good. Only downside was no real bar just the adjacent restaurant bar . On the other hand this bar had seats alongside the river which was nice. We will be back!

The biggest issue I have with this property as a person who travels across Europe a lot is that the staff literally seemed unable to answer basic questions about anything. My first time to Berlin so asked where a park was—literally had to ask three people working the front desk and then finally someone got a map. It was literally the biggest park in the city, close to all the monuments, and within walking distance and yet no one had any ideas to refer me there. This is an example of many—anything I asked for no one had a clue how to answer it. The rooms are dated and bizarrely arranged as well. Rarely leave poor reviews but this was bad.
