Brompton Ralph Vacations from $1,605

The hotel location was great the staff nice and the price fair. However when we stayed Easter weekend there was a celebration thing on. The sound check started just after 8am on the Sunday, it sounded like a full brass band accompanied by drums. Surely those not staying for this event could have been housed further from the noise. It was extremely loud and very disappointing. We got up dressed and left. I’ve never written a negative review before but the noise was something else it was happening right next next to our room.

It’s was Beautiful rooms was nice. Just a little ants in the kitchen and the bathroom other than even space for more than 8 people. Loved.

Clean pleasant room that looked recently refurbished, with a kettle and microwave and a enough tea and coffee to survive a night and morning. A fridge and hairdryer was useful. Shower was good, stocked with shampoo and conditioner. Bathroom was clean. Otherwise it was basic but sufficient. It was very clean and the bed was comfortable. We had one set of neighbours who played very loud music all afternoon until late, but thankfully eventually stopped. At this (cold and wet) time of year the pub garden immediately outside the window did not result in any noise.

Walkable to all the nearby sites and restaurants, cool bar/restaurant on site, clean and comfortable

Overall stay ok but communication with the company was poor. I complained about a terrible smell in the bedroom which wasn’t acknowledged by them. The induction hob didn’t work, so cooking was limited during my stay. I asked for an extra towel which they said they would provide but it never came. I’ve communicated this all to them through WhatsApp but have had no response.
