Clydfan is a delightful Grade II listed holiday cottage that sleeps up to 4 guests in 2 bedrooms. Overlooking the river Glaslyn, this former miner's cottage is ideally positioned in the heart of the Snowdonia National Park in the picturesque village of Beddgelert, amidst the lakes and mountains.

Lovingly restored, Clydfan is under a 2 minute walk from the centre of the village with amenities that include a village shop, pubs, cafes and restaurants. The cottage is in a stunning riverside location where you can enjoy alresco dining during the spring and summer months.

We loved our stay here! A lovely little cottage perfectly located in a charming village by Snowdon with great pubs and independent shops. We didn't have a car and using the local buses worked out just fine which is a bonus. Highly recommend!

We loved our stay and got some wonderful hiking in. We enjoyed food at the local pubs and the convenience of self catering. The local shop was well stocked. Wish there had been a clothes washer in the place as we got pretty muddy and wet on our hike but other than that fantastic place with everything we needed.

A really cute cottage with some lovely personal touches. Small garden overlooks the river and it is a short walk to the local amenities and many beautiful walks . It is also close to many tourist destinations in the Snowdonia area. We particularly enjoyed our visit to the unique Portmeirion village .

Snowdon Perfection!
We really loved our stay in this cottage! The kitchen was really well equipped, the beds were really comfy and we adored the terrace by the streams. Location is super and although you can't park directly outside it was easy to find on-street parking close by even though it was a very busy and sunny weekend. Several pubs and places to eat within a few minutes walk. We loved the bistro, though it's a good idea to book. Beautiful walks from the house and the bus stop close by.

A lovely terraced cottage in the centre of a charming Welsh village
This property had all amenities and made a perfect place to stay for a walking holiday in South Snowdonia. It was clean and tidy, a great ground-floor bathroom, a homely kitchen/dining room, a small but cosy lounge, comfy beds and a garden overlooking the river. Well-situated in the heart of the village, close to shops, pubs, cafes and restaurant. Access to great valley walks with lakes, rivers and local peaks. Would definitely stay here again!

Cottage is very cosy, lovely location but parking is a nightmare. Eating out was very difficult pubs etc still closing early or not opening at all. The one shop is ridiculously expensive so take your shopping with you.

The property was exceptional, all the little extras were unexpected but really appreciated. The cottage was very clean and comfortable and the beds were great. Everything you would need was provided. However sitting in the garden listening to the river running and watching people swimming and enjoying the beauty was just fantastic. Would definitely book again, really good base to explore the area or just stay put.

The location is fabulous and the village is magic. The place is very small but well equipped kitchen. The only dis-advantage in our age group was that the toilet was downstairs and a challenging old stairs.

Fabulously appointed property, right in the middle of the village. The cottage is really lovely with 2 bedrooms (1 double, 1 twin), a cosy lounge and a well equipped kitchen. Bathroom was great with a bonus of very nice underfloor heating. Would recommend this property in a heartbeat and we'd definitely stay there again if it is available.

Great place but web details not accurate
Great place and location let down by incorrect web info and email check lists. Website stated towels and linen washed at 60 degrees so didn’t take either and neither provided. Getting hold of the owner was not easy at all (details should be provided in email confirmation) but once we did the owner and housekeeper were extremely helpful. Wi-fi details also incorrect in the email check listing.

What a lovely place to stay!
This cottage is smack bang in the middle of Beddgelert village and it scores 10/10 for ‘quaintness’. The cottage is actually a tad bigger than the photos suggest, and the garden is a good size with a perfect view of the river. The cottage was clean and tidy. The only minor inconvenience was having to bring/make your own bed up but I can understand why this had to happen due to covid. We hope to stay again in the future and make the most of the pubs that will be reopening in the village. All the best

Perfect for a short break in the heart of Snowdonia
This property is wonderfully located in the middle of Beddgelert, walking distance from all the shops and cafés. Beddgelert itself is a great base for exploring Snowdonia, with many walks from right outside the front door. The house is beautiful and cosy, with everything on hand even with COVID-19 restrictions in place. These were also carefully thought through. The bed was particularly comfy, and the garden idyllic. The owner was kind, accommodating and thoughtful throughout. I would definitely recommend this property for anyone wanting to visit and explore the beautiful Snowdonia region.
