"The person at the desk was great, very helpful and super nice. It’s a great property, we had what looked like a newly renovated room. Great for airport which is very very close, if you’re visiting Naples, it’s around 45 min drive to main area. There’s a pizza restaurant near, but not too many options near by. Staff is willing to text with suggestions etc. Overall I would say great experience…no elevator, but the best air conditioner in Italy! "

"My train arrived prior to Check-in time, but the hotel gave me a room that was ready, so I could enjoy the afternoon touring Reggia Caserta after getting refreshed in the room. My paper tickets for 2 events got soaked with water on the train. The front desk very kindly reprinted my tickets, eliminating any chance that I would be rejected at the entrances. "

"This is a great hotel--staff are attentive, the rooms are comfortable, and their restaurant serves excellent food and a wonderful breakfast buffet (everything from eggs to meats to pancakes to yogurt to pastries). It is conveniently located 10 minutes or so from the train station and royal palace. One negative is the street hustlers in the area washing car windshields, etc. In short, you're not going to take a walk around the neighborhood. However, the hotel is like a little fortress with locked gates all around. You feel safe and at-home inside. For the price, I highly recommend Grand Hotel Vanvitelli."
