No elevator at this property. Not a significant factor in my review however, as the staff graciously ensured that I was on the first floor, as I couldn't use the stairs. Cleanliness of the restroom and bedding and excellence of housekeeping were a highlight of being here!
While my room was fairly comfortable there were a number of annoyances with renovation choices that weakened my experience.
- The fan in the bathroom is on a sensor switch for some reason so you're using a slide to turn it on and off.
- The shower is crowded and tight.
- The water pressure is non-existent.
- The control for the shower doesn't make any sense.
- The tub filler doesn't seem to have any connection to the controls.
- The stopper is a screw-in stopper.
- The toilet seat was crooked and could not be straightened.
- The door to the bathroom itself got stuck and couldn't be shut all the way without strong force.
- The beds have an odd spongy mattress and the pillows are unusually thick.
- Despite my room being clean and hardly tracking in anything from outside, the bottoms of my feet were black from being barefoot in the room.
Also, my AC seemed to stop working halfway through my trip.
One point to be aware of as well that is out of this property's control is that it STINKS here. My whole trip it was swarmed by sea birds. My car got covered in bird poop and the whole property is as well. It was not comfortable for me to go outside or open the sliding door to the patio.
