You'll be spoiled for sightseeing choice when in Morano Calabro. Castello Normanno is a good place to begin here, but there are many other fine spots to visit. Castrovillari Courthouse, Ruderi Monastero di Colloreto, and Archaeological Museum of Castrovillari are close to the fortified complex and will fill in your day nicely.

Tomasso made us feel so welcome and made us feel like family. He drove us to dinner down by the beach, picked us up from the rental car return and ensured we were at the airport in plenty of time for our early morning flight. Excellent hospitality!

The hotel was beautiful clean room, view to the beach was beautiful, Breakfast was good, the lovely lady name Sylvia went above and beyond, very nice! Dinner was a different experience, the staff was unapproachable, didn’t explain the menu, didn’t come back and check on us, we were charged for, bread, oil and balsamic vinegar, the tablecloth and cutlery! Food was under cooked, when we were done, they removed everything off our table before we left! Very disappointed!
