Room was good and clean in a modern building however two issues:
1. The a/c despite being turned off, kept making noises all night:
2. Being told ‘oh well’, I would have to pay for parking in the lot next door as the car park was full is a bit rich for the location not being in a centre and that spaces under the building were reserved for owners yet free

The Carlin is indeed a 5 star property in every way, the staff and accommodation exceeded all our expectations, and we will most definitely return for a longer stay. I would recommend this truly remarkable boutique hotel to anyone traveling to Queenstown NZ.
