"I've stayed in this hostel for 2 nights while visiting Cartagena and had really good time. The room was spacious with nice view, very comfortable and I loved the walk in shower which was much better than some 4* hotels. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Location was perfect, within short walking distance from everything. I would definitely stay again on my next visit to the city."

"The hotel is not modern but it is very clean and the beds are comfortable. There is an excellent cafe across the street. It is within walking distance of the beach and several restaurants. The BAM bus from/to Alicante stops less than 1 block away. I have stayed here four times and would come back again."

Luxurious South Facing 2 Bed Villa with Private Pool on 5* Mar Menor Golf Resort

"Villa was perfect for what we needed. The host was very accommodating and even let us check in early as our flight came in alot earlier then the arranged check in time. Location was great as it was a short walk to the nearerby hotel and restaurants and only a short drive to the most amazing beach. Kids loved the pool and the fact they could use it all day long. Will definitely be back!!"

"We had a lovely 10 night stay at this villa, it had absolutely everything you need for family. We did have a few issues while there but Bill was fantastic and sorted it right away. The owner had very speedy replies and allowed us to check in a bit earlier after travelling through the night. "

"This was a beautifully furnished and well kept apartment on a safe, secure golf resort. The apartment is a few short steps from a lovely quiet pool which is open from 10am to 10pm. We loved the outside space that this apartment offered and the underground parking was a real bonus too. Lovely location for a family but you do need a car. We had one and enjoyed many family trips out to the local beaches for snorkelling and water sports, crazy golf, go karting and into old town Cartagena. We enjoyed the restaurants on the resort boulevard and in the nearby coastal town of Los Alcázares. We would highly recommend this property for families. "
"The property was exactly as described. but there are a couple of minor draw backs to it
Firstly because of the location you lose the sun between 4 and 5 in the afternoon. This may suit you if you don't want the evening sun
secondly there are only single beds (as advertised) there is a double quilt and sheets but no mattress topper, so you can pull the beds together but there is still a gap. It would be nice to have the option of making up a double bed.
the actual location is on the side of the lake nearer the shop so there is a shorter walk to it, but it is still about 10 minutes
we did have a problem checking in and the issue we experienced is we did not have a contact number only an email address as it was outside office hours. However we did get a fairly rapid response and didn't have to wait to long.
I hope this isn't too critical as the apartment has everything you would want for a great stay
