Writing Retreat

The farm house is an excellent place for a writing retreat. The beautiful setting and quiet surroundings were perfect. The rooms were comfortable. Our host was most kind. Thank you.

Great property and great place to stay, spectacular views and a great party room we had our wedding there all of our guests and us enjoyed the property, Jarvis is a great host as well

quiet, beautiful, comfortable, relaxing

We have stayed here several times now. It's a much anticipated get-away for us. Once again, a great stay in a beautiful location. Always enjoy the wildlife as well. This time many deer and three moose. Nice hikes along and into the river valley too. There are many different spaces to explore on the property and enjoy. We'll be back.

Very nice property, Amazing views of river and surrounding land. Lots of good photo opps. house was clean, and property was clean. owner was very helpful and curtious. enjoyed our 10 days there.

I've been before and will be again - the love and care Jarvis has for the property, his non-stop work in adding and expanding options on the property, and the exceedingly rare combination of comfort and seclusion cannot be overstated.

Beautiful country stay

Thanksgiving weekend

Perfect place to host Thanksgiving dinner! Everyone loved walking around the property which is so beautiful! Comfortable place to stay and as always Jarvis is a great host.

Beautiful & Cozy Hideaway!

This was the perfect hideaway to cozy up with some friends! The views on the property are spectacular and Jarvis was a fantastic host and was available whenever we needed. I highly recommend and we will be back for future stays at Grandma's House.

Beautiful Farm Setting

Amazing! Great for everyone, especially the puppies. We will most definitely return. Don’t miss the sunset while sitting on the edge of the river valley.

Lovely Getaway

My husband, two kids and puppy had a great time! It was nice to submerge ourselves in nature. We loved Jarvis' new "cowboy bbq" area the most... we had a fire in the evening in this area and it was magical. This would be a great place for any event in the county, big or small. Thanks for having us!
