"This is a marvelous location with large family size rooms, incredibly comfortable beds and linens, a gorgeous view of the St Croix River, and a very friendly and accommodating host-- 20 minutes from Eastport, and just below Calais, it's a great place to day trip from, and also a place just to rest and relax. It is a motel the way they used to be-- squeaky clean, comfortable, and accessible, I would definitely stay there again! "

"Mid June was lush, everything was green and many flowers in bloom, just lovely. Lots of hiking, birding, some kayaking and Campobello. Had some fog but headed inland a couple days and found clear skies. The cottage is inviting & clean and the studio is inspiring - my husband paints in there. A nice surprise to find the wonderful veggies and greens from Far Out Farms in the fridge. Had a great time and already booked for next year. "

"Not only is the cabin gorgeous but the location and the property could not be better for a quiet escape in the woods. The pups loved swimming in the lake. The star viewing is also unmatched. The whole experience is perfect. "
