This is a modest inn with basic rooms, but comfortable and very convenient to the rail station and to the few restaurants that are open in the winter. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Room was clean and very comfortable. Hallway is painted with beautiful scenery.
Our host Bill was very friendly and willing to help. The place was spotless.

This is pretty much a basic motel, but the owner/manager, Bill, makes it special, giving it the stars and surely the place we would return to in all of Churchill when traveling independently. He is extremely helpful in planning your experience so you get the most possible out of your trip.
Also, the location is perfect in the center of town.

Northern hospitality. Hotel is rustic but clean and functional. It is short on dining and the amenities in the rooms but the host can get you anything you need to enjoy Churchill area.
When I arrived by train, I was able to check-in right away. The Iceberg Inn is really close to the train station and centrally located. The room was comfortable and clean. I enjoyed a tour of all the Churchill highlights and learned about birds with Angela. Bill kindly made me coffee each morning and shared the best restaurants in town. I loved the food snd service at Lazy Bear and Ptarmigan. On the day I left I had access to my room after my late afternoon Beluga tour which was unexpected and much appreciated. Thank you so much for being excellent hosts!
A very nice place to stay when you find yourself in Churchill. Accommodations and amenities are fairly basic, but entirely adequate and largely similar to many other properties in the area. The property was exceptionally tidy and clean, and the host was exceptionally friendly and helpful. It is also conveniently located to a variety of other stores/services in the centre of town. Although my stay was just for one night and in the off-season, it would be easy to imagine/manage a longer stay here during the busier times of the year. Overall, very satisfied and would gladly come here again next time I’m back in Churchill.
Bill is the owner. Super nice chill smiley guy! Thats what i appreciate the most, a friendly and above all humane person! Everything else was good!
Much appreciated.
The manager Brahm was very helpful and informative about things to do in the area. The rooms are ok althougha little tired. The art work in the building makes this a unique place to stay.
I book that property to go visit the region and observe the nature, the owner told me i was off season, there was nothing to do at that time of the year and refuse to refund me and cancel my reservation. Total scam.
The property was right in front of the train station to start, while entering, I wasn't sure what to expect. I was welcomed by Bill who was atetentive throughout my stay.
The room had a 9:00 check out which we were not told about and when we went to check out we were charged $ 50 as a late fee. The room is small, unventillated, appliances are old and worn, the carpets are dirty. Ruined my visit to Churchill

Ok full disclosure my own fault that my friend and I double booked a non-cancelable reservation! However, locals all said to ask them ahead of time and also talk to them in person for which I did. They have painted it inside and out with animal portraits and seemed clean right by train station in middle of town so very convenient. I’m had to pay for double booking and on top of it they would only allow one person in my room instead of two, so I checked in and went to Inukshuk Guest House instead. There is no food available because they use to charge and over eat elsewhere, so no food options. No one recommends them for tours because the tours they do by wife has been charged fees and I trouble for violations regarding getting too close and disturbing polar bears. Then a friend stayed there and they were hustling tours and the next day said it would be double. All this with them sitting empty minus one or two people the whole week I was in town waiting for the onslaught of tourists. FYI: Doing the right things don’t go unnoticed for locals to recommendations and work with you. Good luck with your move from Vancouver to make more money.
