What a beautiful location. It is clear the owner cares for the property and is working to improve it. It was a welcome respite from driving for my family and I. I would definitely stay here again.

The location was perfect. The room was comfortable.
The staff were very nice to use. The beds were not comfortable, the bathroom had what i thought looked like pink and blue soda or food coloring stains the walls and floor. The bathtub was grimy and had black stuff in the corners of it. Other then ahis it wasnt bad. Like i said the staff working there were very nice.
Overall this is a very clean motel, to be an older motel. Appears on the outside weren’t much but on the inside, the rooms are nice and most importantly CLEAN!!
Sort of wish they’d fix the pool. Outside of that, worth the rate.
The ony thing redeeming was the fact I was actually able to sleep. Outside was clean from a perspective of a 4/5. However for as long as we have been coming up, the pool has never been open in the past 10 years. Staffing was nice, which he gets a 5/5. Parking was rather easy, especially foe July 4th. The room was not the best that we have seen anywhere. That gets a 1/5 due to cleanliness. Sheets had stains, side skirting had blood stains, chairs had cookies in them, there was even a razor blade on the floor under the chair. It didn't look like the room has ever been vacuumed. A/c/air wasn't on when we arrived, so we had to turn that on and air the room out for about 15 minutes due to the musty smell. And the breakfast in the morning was somewhat non existent, even after being one of the first in there. Coffee, waffle machine, cereal, honey buns, bananas, and yogurt.
AC was off when we arrived on a hot and humid day. The room finally became comfortable early the next morning. I was concerned that the filters might be dirty, but they were clean. The swimming pool was closed. We don’t care about swimming, but access might create more stays.

Less than what I expected with Quality Inn
Room was overall comfortable and clean. My complaint is about the breakfast. I was expecting at least something to be offered. Also water went from warm to cold in the middle of second persons shower.

Transitioning and Dated
The property is transitioning from Best Western to Choice / Quality Inn. Therefore, there was a delay in check-in trying to find the reservation. This property is definitely dated and does need updating. Other than the door lock / deadbolt, the room did not have an added security lock on the door. Although overall clean, there was hair collected in shower drain that had to be removed prior to showering. The staff was very courteous and welcoming.
This hotel has steadily gone downhill every year. We attend a family reunion yearly and usually stay here. The outside areas are dirty and littered with debris. Pressure washing and painting would improve the appearance. The pool has not been operational for years. The room was generally clean but the sink was very slow to drain. The staff was notified but they never took care of the problem. The commode had an old water ring where it hadn’t been scrubbed in a while. Tv had no signal and staff had to come and plug cable back in. The breakfast was terrible. They have waffle maker but the mix was soured and inedible after cooked….no eggs, biscuits, meat of any kind just a couple of cereal choices , yogurt, coffee and juice. Luckily Huddl house or McDonalds is close. Quality Inn needs to take a look at what is going on at this location. It gives them a bad name.

Definitely an old motel, all outside entrances. Back in the day, I'm sure it was probably very nice. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We could not get the TV to work, but we were already in bed before we discovered that. The blow dryer in the bathroom didn't work either. It appears to be a motel that work crews stay for extended periods of time because of the reasonable price. It was fine for one night as we passed through Clinton, but if you are looking for luxury, this motel isn't what you want.
Hotel staff was attentive and nice. Beds were comfortable. Room had a strange odor. Large stain on the floor and molded shower curtain. The grounds of the hotel were also dirty. Lots of cigarette butts outside of our room. Vending machine was not well stocked.
