This historic construction comes recommended by fellow travelers, but it isn't the only spot to see here. Cute boutique. Lobby smelled great. Jug of ice cold water flavored with lemon or cucumbers or strawberries, nice touch. Great decor. Staff friendly and receptive and helpful. The room although small had great windows, view of golf course. Terrace view of ocean. Shower very hot which was outstanding. . Thin walls could hear shower next door. Terrace close together could smell smoke from room next door. Would prefer no smoking Period.

We spent three nights at the Sea Castle Hotel in Camps Bay and had a wonderful stay. Room 8 featured a charming balcony with loungers, a table and chairs, a BBQ, and an umbrella—perfect for relaxing or hosting a small gathering. The room was beautifully designed, spotless, and spacious, with a huge bed and an excellent shower. The location is ideal, just a short walk to the beach, restaurants, cafés, and grocery stores. We also enjoyed the cooked breakfast each morning and were pleasantly surprised by the quality and variety of the food and coffee. The only reason for giving 4 stars is that Room 8 faces directly onto the road. While the balcony railing is high, we felt it could be a bit more secure with an added barrier or similar improvement. Would definitely stay here again though and recommend it to those who are looking to stay in Camps Bay!
