Unfortunately we got a queen room that was a very outdated and poorly maintained (Unit 202), to the point that it did not meet what we consider basic hotel standards. We shared our concerns with staff during our stay. While they were polite and acknowledged our feedback, no compensation was offered. The only option provided was to pay extra to upgrade rooms, which was disappointing given that the room we originally received was not acceptable. We were told that the king rooms were in better condition. This stay did not deliver the hotel experience we were hoping for, especially for a special occasion like an anniversary. Perfect for what we were needing on a quick trip, although when we have more time to spend we will be returning. Great location downtown but also close to the interstate for traveling without the noise. It is dark and lurking around all the other guest cabins could be bad. Couldn't find a pet area, unless that was the area just outside out room? If so, it was full of thorns and burrs in the weeds, they injured my dogs' feet. The top sheet was so very worn and pilling, we had to sleep on top of it and use the bedspread as a top sheet.
