It was a perfect mountain town experience plenty to do in the area as well, Clayton was only a 20 min drive. I will definitely be coming back for a longer stay. "

"We had an amazing time with family. The house had everything we needed for a baby and toddlers. Plenty of room for a large family. We also rented the pontoon boat and ventured out on the most beautiful lake! The cool water was enjoyed by the kids and well as most of us adults! Would recommend to any family for a good timed in the mountains! "

"Had family visiting from Texas who had never fly fished. The location of Riverlands Retreat is perfect for anglers. Catch and release only at the cabin where we caught multiple trout everyday using artificial nymphs or streamers. If you want to keep trout that you catch, the cabin is just 15 minutes from multiple sites (Rock Creek, Deep Hole, Cooper Creek, Sandy Bottom) stocked by the Dept of Natural Resources. "The Lodge had charcoal, lighter fluid, and lighter ready the grill; there were also firestarters for the fire pits; a Blackstone hooked up and ready to go; AC set nice and cold…etc. Very well planned for nobody around in the office our entire four days. It’s like magic fairies came each day to reset while we were out."
