"We loved the "old school" feel of the motel, yet clean and fixed up to make everything handy. Loved that they had bikes to ride and fires at night and even a movie outdoors. It was fun! "

"Restaurant was wonderful and so convenient to lodging; quiet; staff was friendly and helpful; we ate breakfast and dinner every day and all meals were delicious. Hubby said margaritas were excellent. We stayed in cabin 8 and everything was clean and comfortable; the only minor suggestion I have is to put a reading lamp with a larger bulb next to reading chair! Dusting the interior logs annually would also be a good idea. Bathroom was spotless! "

"The place is somewhat dated, but clean and well kept up. The grass is mowed and the beds comfortable. No A/C in the cabin but there was a big oscillating fan. The manager Linda was very nice. I'd stay there again "
