“We had a lovely long weekend at Roaring Fork Chalet with its rustic mountain vibe. Highly recommend hiking to Roaring Fork Falls - it’s beautiful! There are still several places closed from the effects of Hurricane Helene in 2024. It looks like the golf course nearby was beautiful before the storm ravaged it. We couldn’t get to Mt. Mitchell, but did get some fabulous pictures from the Blue Ridge Parkway overlook. Highly recommend strolling around downtown Burnsville - such a cute town. ...
