"Home is great. A bit of a challenge to reach due to part of the Blue Ridge Parkway being closed due to Helene. Went with the notion of being a wedding anniversary and near a dark sky site. Excellent in terms of privacy and relative darkness. Spouse is 5'2" and had a lot of trouble entering and exiting the hot tub. The mini split ACs are very effective, although it was challenging to understand they all have to be set to AC or heat to work. I'm technically inclined, so this did not pose an issue...

"GREAT Quaint little cabin with everything you need for the weekend to unplug. Hot tub is amazing and definitely a great way to relax every day. Location is very good being located. Only 15 to 20 minutes to hiking trails as well as shopping. I would suggest bringing food to cook because ordering out is it far for you in between Kenneth was a great host and very prompt clearly, following when answering any questions, we need to answer any questions that we had. Will definitely book again."

The driveway was steep, but my Buick LaCrosse performed well navigating the hill - no issues. All amenities were great. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again if in the area."

"We needed somewhere to unwind that we could also take our three fur babies. Couldn't have asked for a better escape! The sunrises, the sunsets, The horses right out the window. Just enough modern convenience blended in to an 1880's escape. Our fur babies loved the walks of the gravel driveway every morning and night. The horses would come over to greet us. Cuddling up to a warm fire was just the perfect touch to end each day. We plan to come back!"
