“Everything was wonderful and all the positive reviews were accurate! Feels like you're super secluded, but everything is super close and the properties are clearly well cared for. We could've spent the entre time just sitting on the porch or staying in the cabin and been perfectly content watching the deer, birds, and stars, but since the weather was good we visited Spuce Pine, Grandfather Mtn, and some other local attractions which were all awesome. 10 out of 10, best trip together so far, and...

“Great, short stay at Mike's place. Cabin was cozy and had great amenities. Host communication was prompt and efficient. Would highly recommend.Two downsides:#1 - we couldn't stay longer!#2 - dogs across the street are kind of noisy...but that's not on Mike, just the nature of dogs.”

“Our family of 12 enjoyed a long weekend and it truly was Almost Heaven! From the amazing sunrises and sunsets to the fully appointed mountain cabin, we had an amazing time! Skiing, snowboarding, tubing, and downtown Asheville were all easy driving distances and offered fun for all!Great location and beautiful cabin atop your own mountain! Who could ask for more!”

“The cottage was peaceful and a perfect place to send my parents to relax. The check in process was a bit odd, the cottages are not clearly marked, they had to guess which cabin was theirs and try their code. Otherwise, this place was perfect. Cozy, clean, and the hosts were quick in response and great hosts! ”

“Our family enjoyed our visit to Wolf Laurel. Cabin was great. We loved fishing at the trout pond. So awesome that we were able to bring our fur baby. Definitely recommend!!”

“The property was great! It had plenty of room with comfy beds. My son loved the game room. We enjoyed multiple nights in the hot tub and sauna. The steps kept us in shape while we were vacationing. The doggies even enjoyed the views. The property manager kept in touch several times throughout the stay. Can’t wait to visit again. ”

“Laurel cabin was perfect for our stay. my dogs loved sitting outside along the river. The scenery was gorgeous, The accommodations were clean & adequate. The owners very helpful. I will probably choose to stay in Hemlock or Sycamore next time because of no stairs. Definetly plan to stay next year”

“The house was incredible and had everything we needed for our family of 5 plus two pups. The view from the deck was stunning and great to drink coffee on in the morning and sip bourbon on at night. Kids had a blast in the game room, even though they couldn’t beat me in shuffleboard! Mike and Rachel were fantastic hosts with great communication. Would highly recommend this house for your next trip. And if you do go would also recommend tubing down the French Brd River at Mad Co Tubing. Our kiddos...

“Beautiful home in the Wolf Laurel community, great view, comfortable beds, fun game room and hot tub. 15 min from the AT and close to Asheville. My kids wanted to live there forever. :)”
