“Comfortable cottage seemingly in the middle of nowhere, but well connected to the village. Having a large enclosed backyard for the pups to run around was a huge plus. The Island itself was not the most dog friendly- all trails (but one) required dogs to stay on leash which was unfortunate for us.Overall we had a great stay with dark, quiet nights, eagle sightings and wonderful views that changed by the minute :)”

The pictures of the view are inaccurate unless you are at the host’s patio, we’d guess, but we didn’t go on their patio. The kitchen is a bit small but workable. “This place was very clean, spacious , well kept with stunning views!The rooms are well equipped with towels. Kitchen was sufficiently stocked with the basics . The host is very responsive and helpful. We had difficulties with the functioning of the fireplace and the host was extremely helpful. Expect the bedroom on level 1 next to the main entrance, to be cold.A definite yes, and we will visit again. Very good space for a family or just a couple. Quiet and private. ”
