“The property is so cool. It is a historic site and has been brought back to reveal has gorgeous it is. It has all the character with modern touches you could want. The Blue Room is very comfortable with enough room for two to spend a cozy weekend. The location is perfect for Beaufort - it's right by the main drag, you can easily walk to shopping, dining, the ferries. And the hosts are awesome! ”

“Good stay, great location, wonderful staff. As advertised and solid value. 4/5 Stars. For 5 stars, desperately needed better pillows - they were horrible. Also, assigning us a 30-minute window for breakfast, 8-830a, was less than ideal, particularly for a vacation. Finally, the doors allowed in quite a bit of noise, so perhaps a bit more sound proofing. That said, for being an older building, it was good. It has a great location, wonderful staff, and was overall a solid value.”

“Really great place to stay to take the day to explore the area. Easy walk to downtown and the waterfront. We found a great place to have dinner in downtown Edenton and have a few drinks and then had just enough time to walk to the waterfront and catch the sunset. We had requested a bottle of wine for our return and were able to take that and watch the traffic go by on the large front porch during the evening. The breakfast the next day was fantastic and we got tips of some boat trips and...
