"This hotel is beautiful! The pool is simple, but nice with a nice seating area as well. Located in downtown Wilmington, you are very centrally located to shops, restaurants, activities and sights. I would highly recommend staying here and taking advantage of the shuttle if you are flying in and out of ILM. "

"This is a newer hotel (or at least fully remodeled) that is located along the river and the river boardwalk. You are just a few minutes walk to Market Street where there are several shops and restaurants. Our room was very spacious which is essential when you are traveling with your two "adult" children; the pull-out sofa bed was great, although it wasn't very comfortable (typical sleeper sofa). However, the queen beds and pillows were very comfortable! The room was very clean and the front desk was extremely responsive. And the made-to-order breakfast was such a welcome! My only suggestions ... make sure the bathroom is outfitted with enough towels for each guest; the sleeper sofa has sheets, pillows, and a blanket (Housekeeping brought them up right away); and it would be great if these rooms had a set of dishes and utensils. We had left overs in the refrigerator and could warm them up in the microwave but had no way of eating them. Overall, fantastic hotel that I would highly recommend!"
