"It was a wonderful cozy home. It had a well equipped kitchen. It felt like home, with seasonal decorations. I loved the location, especially the walking trail on the lake. Also the great shower in the master bathroom. If you are a golfer, it is the perfect location. Very relaxing after a round of golf. My communication with Lisa (the host) was easy and quick. I would definitely recommend. "

"4 of us stayed for a golf trip.. House is spacious and clean.. Big Tv in family room to watch some football and a nice pool table to entertain.. Beds were very comfortable.. Hosts were very responsive for check in.."

"Absolutely amazing time at the castle! We had all of the family - adults loved having 4 king beds - that’s practically impossible to find! The place was SO spacious! You could have kids sleep on air mattresses in the gigantic closets of their parents’ rooms. And if you need a little peace, there are plenty of options for solitude. The pool and game room were huge hits. The grandkids still can’t decide which was more fun. Even the adults loved the pool slide! There were several floats and pool toys on the property. The house itself is really interesting - true medieval castle vibe. It’s not in pristine condition, so it’s easy to have your dog or little kids without being paranoid over everything. We do these family gatherings often and eat all of our meals at home. This kitchen did not have nearly as much in the way of dishes or cooking utensils as we’ve had elsewhere, but we made it work with paper plates and frequent utensil washing. Those stairs you see in the photos will cause some pause with toddlers. You do have to keep an eye on them. Overall, we had a blast and would love to return! Kate was responsive, kind, and personable. Love love loved the castle! "

"The configuration of the unit is great - two separate bedrooms each with a full bath and a television. Plenty of storage in the bedroom furniture and the beds are super comfortable.Location is convenient to Pinehurst and neighboring towns with no shortage of shops & restaurants. Unit is on the upper floor and has a nice view of the pool. Would recommend and love to stay again!"
