My only issue and I got the reason why later in my trip is that it is in a not so walking friendly area of town and getting a rideshare can come at the expense of some time (20+ minutes) This had been explained to me by a rideshare driver who stated the local transit agency cut back service on Saturdays and there is no service on local transit on Sunday so rideshares get absolutely overrun on the weekends. Look no complaints whatsoever about the hotel, the staff were all great and friendly. Definitely use the pool and the hot tub, nicest and cleanest I have seen in a long time. REALLY close to the Blair County Convention Center if you're using that"

Highway noise can be disruptive but thay's not their fault, and it does mean that food is seldom more than a 5 min drive in any direction. It's leagues above the vast majority of other non-chain hotels that call themselves budget friendly, and it still manages to check all the boxes that one would need for a comfortable short stay. WYEML is very much a "what you see is what you get" kind of place and doesn't try to be anything it's not. All in all, if you just need a comfortable place to relax after travel, have a hot shower, lay your head down, and you can do without the high thread count egyptian cotton sheets, hot tub, and pool access, then WYE Motor Lodge a great place to stay."
