Crooked Tree Vacations from $729

My partner and I didn't quite know what ro expect from "luxury" accommodations in the jungles of Belize. Especially, as a gay couple, we can never be sure of the locals reception of us. We booked the Luxury Villa room. It was spacious and spotless with a wonderful shower and a comfortable king-size bed. An enormous veranda where you can enjoy a cocktail from the well-stocked mini bar overlooks the pool. There is also a comfortable sitting room and a huge kitchen area where you could prepare your own meals. The staff, Mel, Elvin, Lucy and Dan are absolutely the most welcoming people you would want to have looking after you while on vacation. There isn't enough space in a review like this to tell how often their truly genuine hospitality made our trip to Belize one of the most memorable vacations we have ever taken. Mel's meals deseve special mention What a fantastic cook she is! She even pepared a dinner just for us. There are plenty of places to eat in the area but don't waste your tastebuds going anywhere else. Mel is magical. Our day trips were flawlessly organized by Dan, who even took a day to give us a personal tour of the area, including the local market, Big Rock Falls and the Mayan ruins at Xunantunich. Larry has done a wonderful job creating an oaisis of comfort in the jungle. If you want a relaxing vacation with the option of adventurous day trips and outstanding meals this is the place for you.

The room was clean. The staff was great and the location was grand. But the dinners were extremely overpriced and small with limited options.

Good customer service.

The most amazing staff and the concierge was next level. Never had such an amazing experience anywhere else. The property and our villa was absolutely stunning. We will definitely be coming back
