“We totally enjoyed this property for 6 days and it was so fun and relaxing. We kayaked every day right from the boat ramp located on the property. Access to the water was extremely easy. We loved the wooden swing located onsite with a wonderful view of the waterways. The outdoor shower was a dream. The house was extremely clean and the televisions were huge. The Hosts provided so many helpful items to make our vacation enjoyable.”

“Cozy home in excellent location in Old Homosassa. Super clean and well stocked. Especially enjoyed the light show on the front yard oak tree! Spent a lot of time at porch bar watching mullet jumping and heron wading. Went to the Homosassa Wildlife State Park, ate at the Freezer and took a river ride on the Island Girl Cruise… highly recommend all. We had a wonderful time! Hope y’all can keep this beautiful place a secret ❣️”

“Great property. Ownwes/managers were awesome. Very down to earth and cared very much about our comfort. Sitting on the pier, on the patio or in the house with cocktail in hand and watching the sunset was the best.”

“Everything was as expected and it's always been a great fishing spot of the dock or canoes. Kids enjoyed the stay.”

“Stayed 4/20 -4/25. The lake house was the perfect place for the two of us to relax and enjoy the Nature Coast of Florida. We watched wildlife from the dock and enjoyed the sunsets each evening. Windy days deterred us from using the canoe except for one quick outing. Nothing negative with the house except that which was already mentioned. We would definitely recommend the lake house to those that enjoy quiet in nature and are looking for a home base to enjoy natural attractions in the vicinity,...

“Had a great stay. Owners were very friendly and helpful. We were looking for a place that we could bring a boat and enjoy nature while also being close enough to big cities if we wanted. This location was pretty much directly between Tampa and Orlando and gave us the flexibility we were looking for. We saw tons of wildlife on the lakes and rivers and enjoyed ourselves greatly!!”

“Decided to stay here for a fishing trip and scouting possible retirement communities, the house has a history but it well suited our stay, neighbors at super helpful and friendly. Only thing I would have changed would be the two twin beds in the bedroom, the couch too uncomfortable for 2 older adults but we moved the twins together and made the most of it. Had an emergency and left the night before but wished we could have spent longer here.”
