"If booking through Expedia make sure you tell the clerk what you booked! Seems the system automatically gave us a double queen vice the single king we booked online! I will always double check as I check in at the desk from now on. The room was great and the staff was accommodating when I pointed out the discrepancy! Very professional!!! Great experience! "Exactly as advertised. It’s a cottage. Shower is small but reasonable. A bit of an odd layout but serviceable for a couple. If I had a single surprise it was that there wasn’t a door to the bedroom. Not a big deal unless one of you has insomnia and is wandering half the night. We enjoyed our stay. Communication was great. There was a ln area power outage in the area and our hosts were right there letting us know there was an issue and making sure we were ok"

"Stayed at the Perch for a long Holiday weekend. The area is mostly quiet. Jeannie the owner was easy to communicate with and quick to respond. The house was clean and well supplied. We did not have contact with the local care keeper, a couple messages were not returned. Perch lake is a very small lake, a pontoon ride around the lake would take 30 min. or less. Lake is best for fishing, kayaking or just viewing. The Perch Lodge checked all the boxes, the lake on the other hand is quite limited (I have been around lakes my whole life)."

"Overall it is a great location and base for adventure. Our group met Dr Pol and crew, visited Reindeer Rooftops, Carrie grocery and Yoder’s grocery. Dined at The Herrick House and Mulberry Cafe. The ATV trails made walking in the morning a delight. The black squirrel sightings thrilled my niece. The deer greeted us several times during the day. Michigan was a pleasant place and Lyndsey was a great host and responded un a timely manner. Loved the theme, movie room and secret room. Beds were comfortable. "
