Plus, lots of great shopping malls, restaurants, and parks within 10-15 minutes. The host was very attentive and checked in from time to time to make sure we were comfortable. The vrbo had all the kitchen appliances, utensils, and accessories so we were able to cook during our stay. The back yard is huge and our Jack was very happy chasing squirrels or taking a nap on back deck. There was lots to like. The house was clean and easily livable. Justin was helpful and responsive. Our dogs loved the backyard. It's close to a lot of Dallas destinations. I definitely recommend it, especially for longer stays. The only knock on this property is that the area can be a little dodgy at night, but overall this didn't impact my stay at all. It's close to some cute bars and restaurants, the house is clean and newly remodeled, and it came equipped with a lot of the little things that made it feel like home. The kitchen had everything we needed to brew our morning coffee or have an evening meal. Towels were plentiful and bathrooms came with everything we needed as well. The host was very quick and responsive with any issues we had, which we really appreciated. The house is located about 20 minutes from everything, which was helpful for our group who had to travel to downtown and deeper into the suburbs. The neighborhood itself doesn't match the interior, however; it is very much in transition and nearby homes were in a wide range of "original" condition to recently flipped. Although the area gave me pause, our 4 day stay was quiet and I felt safe staying there. It is in a very convenient part of the city with plenty of shopping and restaurants within a short distance. The second bedroom with triple bunk beds was surprising. They could only be comfortable for very small children on the bottom two beds, but if you need space for several little kids, this fits the bill. The master suite is huge and has one of the most comfortable beds I've slept in away from home! The owner was very responsive to minor issues during our stay, which I appreciated!
