The place is just like the pictures. Very spacious, and comfortable. It is a detached guest house on the hosts property. It is located in a quiet neighborhood about 20-30 mins away from downtown Dallas. It is near the interstate, so it's easy to come and go. The host greeted us upon arrival very briefly, and was quick to reply to any questions I had. The bed, and couches were comfortable. Like others commented the TV was a little tricky. The top half of the remote functions like a laptop mousepad. The "menu" button serves as a back button at times. Hope that helps... I would definitely recommend this place to anyone, and will definitely try and stay again if I find myself in town.

This is a lovely little space that's quiet, private, and has most everything you need. My only recommendation (because for me alone it was great but my hubby is a tall man) would be a king size bed. I knew it was a queen but seeing the space, well, it would be perfect. That said, the cottage is cozy and cute. Everything is very farm chic. And it's about ten minutes from anything in Forney.It's a breeze to check in and out. Sabrina was lovely and welcoming.

Had a really great time at the property. The host was very friendly, and the only issue we ran into was the coffee pot stopped working. She fixed it right away, and everything was great. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a stay.

Location was perfect for where we needed.Host was very nice via messaging. Only few cons, they don’t supply any type of bathing soaps and only 1 wash rag. Wasn’t bad just something future renters would prob like to know, also the furniture was very old and literally all torn and peeling off. Kinda yuk,honestly I was grossed out to sit on it. So we watched tv from the bed.They have some toilet situation that warns you to not use too much toilet paper:/ Didn’t bother us just heads up. Lastly love that they don’t charge a lot for a cleaning fee but it def didn’t look professionally cleaned, bedding I’m sure had some stains but we actually brought our own silk pillow cases to put over the pillows we used. All and all was good for what we needed.

Was just what we needed. Didn’t spend a lot of time there except to sleep. It was a very cute guest home. Only complaint would be the parking/driveway. We were in a fairly large vehicle, and was a little difficult to maneuver out with the gate sticking out a bit. Other than that, would highly recommend. Would not hesitate to stay there again if need be.

Lovely

We loved this guesthouse. It was perfect for our weekend retreat. The couches were very comfortable and there was plenty of space to get around. The kitchen had everything we needed - refrigerator, keurig, mugs and glasses - plus a stove, oven and microwave. We would definitely consider booking this property again in the future if we do another sisters’ weekend in Forney.

Everything you need

The guest house is a great stay and space. Nicely decorated, well kept, and clean. Had a well equipped kitchen with necessary appliances and utensils to make a meal, cozy living space to hang out and watch TV, full sized bed, and clean bathroom/shower.

A couple of issues, but great hosts!

Upon arrival to our VRBO, the host greeted us and was very welcoming and accommodating, even with our very late check-in. As we settled in, our group of 4 noticed the pull-out couch was well-loved and not quite what we had expected. We found an air mattress in the closet as well but it unfortunately had holes in it. Once we moved the topper from the bed to the pull-out, it was very comfortable. The host was also prompt in offering to get another air mattress and frequently checked-in to make sure we had what we needed to sleep comfortably. We also noticed that the shower had a leaking issue on the floor and in the wall and with quick communication the hosts checked on the issue and while unable to fix it during our stay, said they would fix it before the next guests arrive and accommodated us with fresh towels and offered a discount for our stay. Overall, the hosts were incredibly kind and communicative creating a comfortable stay all issues aside.

Great family weekend

Such a quaint little studio cottage! Very comfortable and adorably designed. The finishes and furniture made it feel like it was a much older little cottage tucked away in a town square somewhere instead of a guest home in a nice residential neighborhood. Great communication with owner who was very accommodating and friendly. Would definitely stay here again someday!
