The Staff is awesome. ERNNIE, JB, AND THE YOUNG LADY FROM 3-11 Were so loving to my puppy. We enjoyed the week there do much that i decided to move to Daytona. The hallway leading to our room had a used tea bag and other trash on the floor like it hadn't been swept in a while. Otherwise, the room was perfect and the view was amazing. The lady who checked us in was wonderful and checked us in early which was awesome!

The room had a beautiful view of the ocean! Unfortunately this is the only positive thing I can say about this hotel. The room was dirty. My husband had to mop areas of the floor when we first arrived. We asked for it all to be mopped the next morning, but it never got done. The toilet leaked. We asked to have that repaired and it never got done. We killed multiple bugs over our 3 day stay. We asked for the room to be sprayed, that obviously was not done either. There was mold in the shower, the TV barely worked and the coffee in the room was disgusting. We stay in the Daytona area every year around Thanksgiving. We will definitely NOT be staying at Tropical Winds again.

Staff was polite and check In was a breeze. The first room I was checked into the toilet didn’t work and there were roaches all over the bathroom. We requested a different room the front desk clerk was very nice and apologized. BUT… The second room was just as bad. Roaches everywhere in the bathroom. There were fans and dehumidifiers in all the hallways on each floor and a mildew smell. Our beds were clean, the view was great, but the smell and roaches are a deal breaker, unfortunately I will not be back.

It’s very nice beds were comfortable nice water pressure in the shower even though you couldn’t go down to the beach the pool deck was awesome. Staff was friendly and helpful. My only complaint would be the indoor pool wasn’t warm.( heated.)

We have stayed here before. Hotel is aged, issues with key cards needing to be reset multiple times during stay, but overall great stay. The ladies working in the cafe were amazing. They need recognition. We will stay again.
