Check in was quick and seamless. Property is kind of outdated. However, given the fact that most people stay for one night since it is on the highway, all you need a comfortable bed to sleep on for the night and continue your journey in the morning.

I was there for six nights housekeeping, didn’t come. I finally had to ask for towels, and then they gave me trash bags and had me empty my own trash. My reservation was for a room with double beds but they upgraded me to two queen size which was nice breakfast was OK. But housekeeping was very disappointing.

It was an okay place to stay since we just needed a roof and a bed for the night. It was clean enough and the bed was comfortable. The staff was amazing and the breakfast was very nice. The location was what we were looking for right off the highway. Didn't appreciate Fox News on the TV during breakfast.

Breakfast was fresh, but just okay in taste. Parking was great, being right in fron of your room on the same level. The bed was extremely comfortable, but the coolest thing was the picture above it -- a grouping of rock pools, which are types of vernal pools. What was so cool about that? I was staying at the hotel for an event called Vernal Poolooza, which was a conference centered around wetlands......especially vernal pools.

The front desk staff was very friendly. The room was satisfactorily clean. Even though the motel is close to the interstate, it was surprisingly quiet. The reason we stayed here is because they allow pets. This is a motel so you enter your room from the parking lot outside. It was obvious the rooms were updated in last few years, but it was like putting lipstick on a pig. I was in room 130. You could see daylight around the door. The sheets were threadbare in a few places. The mattress was stained in multiple areas. Looked like dried blood to me. The Good News is we didn’t find any unsavory critters in the bedding! (Yes, we check for them at every hotel we stay at) The fan in the bathroom sounded like an airplane was taking off when turned on. The faucet fixture was loose. The toilet looked newer, but the yellow seat was a strange addition. The pool had warnings that were literally spray painted freehand on the edge. Pretty ghetto if you ask me. Speaking of ghetto, there is an abandoned motel adjacent to this property. Bottom line is this motel was adequate. It is obvious the owner doesn’t ensure basic maintenance is being done and cut corners on the remodel.
