The outside of the house looks a little modern, but as soon as you walk into the house the decor is simply darling…The reviews about the breakfast are so spot on. " Located in the lovely quiet countryside which is easy to access and a great proximity to Valley Of the Temples and Museum as opposed to staying in busy Agrigento where parking is difficult to find. Lovely grounds, with nice views. Our room was quiet, large and very clean. Breakfast had a nice selection of pastries, protein, cheese, eggs, yogurt & fruit. The staff were very helpful and the lady in charge even drove us to the bus station herself when we asked for a taxi. The breakfast also was very good, variety and served attentively."

"Villa Carlotta is surrounded by well-kept lovely gardens, with a good sized swimming pool to swim and relax by. There was plenty of parking space too, inside a locked entrance for added security. The room was good, but the bathroom was showing signs of a little age and could do with a freshen-up, however it was clean and ideal for our one night stay. The Villa is by itself in a rural area, but only a few miles from a town with restaurants. We had a room for three and it was spacious and had a nice wraparound deck with nice views of the countryside"

"The host and owner is a.Charming and very helpful woman named Stefania. Within 10 minutes shad us lined up for a wonderful lunch near the Valle of Temples. She introduced our xrivet named Tony who took great care if us. Breakfast was wonderful with homebaked traditiinal cake and other sweets as well as eggs, meats and cheeses. "There are no problems with the bedroom, the property owner, or the management. (Do call or text with your exact arrival hour, though.) The biggest issue you may have with this place is reaching it with your suitcase wheels intact, because you are going into the old part of Agrigento and depending on your approach angle, you may be dealing with seemingly-endless bumpy walkways, staircases, and roads which allow one car at a time. There are two main walking ways to get here and if you're coming...

"The villa is beautiful, lovely inside and out. Very spacious and it really has everything inside you could need. The pool area is very large and the pool is large and beautiful, our only issue was the lack of workable umbrella stands as there is no shade around the pool until about 4pm. We didnt find too much to do local to the villa, there is a nice restaurant (La Taberna) in rucalmuto but we drove to San Leone, which had an array of resturants and beautiful beaches and just 20 mins drive...
