“Loved the area. Lake Melissa is a hidden gem. We lucked out and stayed just as the autumn colors in the trees were at their peak! The view of the lake was incredible out of the many windows. We watched the birds take their route past us every morning. There was a paddle boat and stand-up paddle boards available if we wanted them. The house was fine. Everything we needed was there, but it could use some minor maintenance. There is a window in the shower without any covering on it. That shower……

We love the ministry that this home provides to our veterans and their families. Some things that would have made our stay even more relaxing would have been a hall tree to hang our coats in place of the grandfather clock by the door, having the lightswitches labeled so that we didn't have to try them all to figure out which one was for which lights, and having the……
