“I loved staying at this cabin for my Elkin visit. It’s located about 17 minutes from downtown, and I was able to enjoy beautiful hikes each morning. It is so calm and serene, and I will definitely be back.”

“I have stayed in a lot of different homes and can't always give a 5 star rating but this homes deserves more than 5 stars. The house is beautiful, very clean, comfortable, and Betty would check to see if we needed anything. We sat out on the carport watching the rain and storm and it was BEAUTIFUL. I would absolutely recommend this home to my family and friends. I will be going back down to Mount Airy and will plan my trip to stay here again.”

“Clean. Driveway and walking distance to town. We ate at the Goat so had to wat h the Andy Griffith Goat episode. The memorabilia was fun.”

“Neat retro unit. The only problem had nothing to do with the unit or our host. The power went out due to a storm for about 5 hours. You can’t beat Mother Nature.”

“The house itself was fine. The host, however, was not easy to communicate with. When we arrived at the house and saw a camper on site, we immediately reached out to Nellie through Vrbo expressing our concern. We were especially uneasy when we noticed the camper was running, fearing there might be someone inside. We were not told that there would be a camper there which gave us reason to express concern. When she didn’t respond via Vrbo inbox, we called the number given through the Vrbo app. She……
