“Three Trails is ideally located in downtown Elkin. It, however, is located next to an active railroad line and trains do sound their horns early in the mornings and sometimes at night. Three Trails is also on the corner of the main street junction of the city. Therefore, there is street noise. Three Trails would be much improved, and more comfortable for guests, if sound proofing glass is installed in the windows. “This is such an amazing experience! It felt like we were staying in a tree house - we loved all the trees surrounding the property. It felt so secluded but is only a few miles from downtown Elkin. The house was spotless and smelled so good. It is high end and luxurious but also very cozy. The bedding was so comfy. “The house was so cute! Very easy to communicate with the property owner. Check-in was easy and it looked just like the pictures. The hot tub was such a treat after a long day of wine tasting! We could easily connect to the speaker system to play our jams. Beds and linens are really really comfy and there was plenty of space to play games and chill out. There isn’t a vent for the stove top so just be prepare to open doors and windows if you cook inside. The wine tour operators know the house and……
