“The space was clean and tidy and the neighborhood was very quiet and safe. It made for a comfortable weekend stay as all of downtown was within walking distance. I had come for hiking so I was not around too much but the space had everything I needed, including parking in front of the home.
If you are looking for something super high end this is not for you. It is comfortable, down-to-earth, and cute. You will have to climb a flight of stairs to get to the property and there is a large step……

“Hosts were very communicative. Proximity to everything is within walking distance, although it rained while we were there so we decided to drive and park. The living room furniture and kitchen table are now different from what is pictured... Not good nor bad, just picture not updated. Of note, this is a very old shed/storage area converted into a one bedroom apartment. While it was very cute and quaint, there was a very heavy musty smell. They did have an air purifier going but didn't seem to……

“Best VRBO we have ever rented. Jerry and Betty had everything so clean and stocked with a lot of extras. House was ready for an early check in and we were able to get the rest and relaxation we needed. We cooked our own meals, napped on couch, and only ventured out for fresh vegetables.”

“I have stayed in a lot of different homes and can't always give a 5 star rating but this homes deserves more than 5 stars. The house is beautiful, very clean, comfortable, and Betty would check to see if we needed anything. We sat out on the carport watching the rain and storm and it was BEAUTIFUL. I would absolutely recommend this home to my family and friends. I will be going back down to Mount Airy and will plan my trip to stay here again.”

“Absolutely beautiful property. Sparkling clean, comfortable beds, beautiful hot tub well maintained yard with soft grass. We had our lab with us and he adored running in the fenced yard. Location was perfect for visiting Mt Airy. Host was lovely. What a wonderful place to make memories!!!”
