"It was my Mother’s Day and birthday relaxation vacation. My family loves the outdoors. We enjoyed a healthy bike ride and then the jacuzzi. The cabin was very nicely stocked. Definitely enjoyed the deck! Comfortable."

"While the cabin is a lovely place, we have an elderly family member and a blind family member, the path from the driveway into the house is very muddy right now making it uneven, and the walkway is cracked and uneven leading up to the stairs. So while this house was a nice place to stay, it is not recommended if anyone in your party requires ADA accessibility."

"We really love the location of this cabin. A short hike to the lake or 10 min walk to town but we did not hear any commotion from the main road. The layout is the perfect size for 4-6 adults. Cornhole and fire pit area are a nice addition to keep kids occupied. The small heater worked well but it was not too cold outside. Stove, microwave, everything you need. I just had to go get matches because the lighter was out of liquid. A potato peeler or pairing knife would would have been a plus but...

"This cabin was very clean with great amenities. We had concerns of being that close to Hwy 168 but we really didn’t hear any road noise at all. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cookware. The toaster over and hot plate worked well to compensate for there being no oven."

"The cabin is even better in person than in the photos… it is the sweetest coziest little place! Very clean and organized. The host has everything stocked for basic cooking. There is a washer and dryer. A barbecue and a table and fire pit on the patio. One of the nicest Places I have stayed in Shaver Lake. She also had the place decorated for the holidays. She was very communicative as well. I highly recommend this cozy cabin. We look forward to our next stay ⛄️"

"We had driven down from Sacramento to take a day tour at Yosemite. It was lovely to arrive to such a welcoming space and rest up for our tour. The cookies left were amazing. After our tour it was wonderful to retire and relax after a very busy day to prepare for our return to Sacramento. A nice getaway weekend."
