We loved it there. Our unit was very clean, modern and nicely situated overlooking the golf course from the patio (great sunsets) and with a view of the mountains from the front parking lot. We took a walk around the grounds, and had beautiful views of the mountains and a large pond. Very peaceful. We played mini golf and went to the guest reception at the clubhouse. Free beer, wine and snacks, including fresh popcorn. It is conveniently located to shopping and restaurants, and less than 10 minutes to Pagosa Springs and the hot springs. Only minor complaint is that the bed was a bit too hard.

Altus Lodge was a great space, loved the hot tub and fire pit area, not many other spots in town like it. Room was pretty spacious and clean. We’d definitely stay there for our next trip.

I stayed for three nights and it was impossible to get ahold of any staff. There was a number to text and call so I reached out three separate times and never got a response. The room was clean but it would have been nice to get fresh towels, clean coffee mugs, and more coffee filters.
