“Nice little cabin but the pictures are deceiving. Makes it look like there are two rooms and a kitchen. Ours was just one room with a mini fridge and microwave. I think you just get whatever room is available. They also said the restaurant (snack bar) was open until 7 and it was already closed at 6:40. Other than that the facility was nice and great family setting with lots of things to do. ”

“If you're looking for a peaceful getaway, Cabin #2 near Lake Tawakoni is a fantastic choice. The location is hard to beat—being right on the water makes it easy to relax and leave the stress of everyday life behind. One of my favorite parts was being able to fish right off the pier whenever I wanted. Having the Quack Shack restaurant located right on the pier was another nice bonus. The food was good, and it was incredibly convenient to grab a meal without having to leave the property. The……

“The place was clean and had a deck to enjoy the beautiful lake view. Not so much a swimming spot but fun to watch the ducks and herons. Our dog loved the water!Price was right on par with the accommodations. Beds were comfortable and water pressure wonderful in the shower. A bit of a cigarette aroma lingers, probably left over from before they updated the trailer. After going in/out for a day it dissipated. Parking is limited. Can fit two cars or a vehicle with a small boat. Ronny was quick to……

“Everything about this home was perfect. The beds were comfortable, everything was clean, check in was simple and we actually kept the air turned up higher than we do at home because the house stayed so cool. That was much appreciated during a summer heat wave! The outdoor covered porch area was wonderful and more than we expected. It was equipped with large fans so we were able to sit out and enjoy it in the evenings despite the heat. It is completely private and you hear nothing but nature. We……

“We came for a single night since we were coming into town for an event at the Mineola Nature Preserve. The house was cute, rustic, and welcoming. I slept in the master bed and it was very comfy with lots of pillows. My mom and daughter were in the other bedroom. We loved having the crafts and coloring books available, but the best part… the tubs!……

“We really enjoyed our stay! The hosts were so friendly and very easy to get a hold of. The property was exactly what I was wanting for a peaceful stay.
