The garden and pool were very nice and the location is not bad, but a difficult street to drive around to their parking. We had to first go inside the hotel and get them to open the gates in back and drive around - any time we came or went.
The rooms are a good size, but it really lacked amenities. A small bar fridge and coffee maker would have greatly enhanced our stay for sure, and even a microwave would have been wonderful. I called ahead of time and was told that we could check in between 2:00 & 2:30. When we arrived, they said the room would not be ready for another hour. We were meeting family after we checked in, so had to delay our plans another 1 1/2 hours. Since there was no fridge in the room, I had also asked about the availability of ice and water before hand on the phone. I was told there was an ice machine and I could get ice for our cooler that we brought, and also 2 bottles of water would be provided. The bottles of water were little 1/2 bottles. and although it was a nice gesture and the water is drinkable, we ended up buying a very large bottle of water for our stay.
After we arrived, I was told I could get ice in the restaurant. There was no container in the room, so I asked for a bag at the restaurant. They kind of gave me a bad time, and said if I wanted ice, I should go buy it at OXXO convenience store, several blocks away. When I said I was told I could get ice here, they did give some ice in a bag that leaked water all the way to our room.
