"Ulum is a unique experience for several reasons. First of course is the tent. It has a floor, bathroom, shower and air conditioning unit, and a couch and chairs around a coffee table. We had the good fortune to stay in a fairly high tent so our view of the valley and Looking Glass Rock was phenomenal but it does get a little windy up there. During the day the temp reached over 100 so we were worried about being too warm at night, but this being the desert it cooled off nicely and we did not need to turn our AC unit on. We were also able to unzip window areas on the sides which greatly reduced wind blowing of the tent. They do supply ear plugs and I'm not sure what happens when it's colder and you can't unzip these side windows as the tents do get loud with the wind. There are also pot belly stoves and wood in the rooms which we obviously did not need. The main building is lovely and has a very nice restaurant open for breakfast and dinner. The guests ate dinner outside with the sweeping view I mentioned above. There are several fire pits to cook s'mores after dinner. The sunset we saw the night we ate at the restaurant was no less than spectacular. The staff is always ready to help and they are around 24/7 if you need a golf cart ride, ice to the room or anything else. They are lovely. I would not hesitate to stay here just for a unique experience, but probably not more than a night or two, as you can not really "unpack" your clothes. It's a half hour drive to Moab"

"The little extras make it abundantly clear that the owners are not new to this game. Washer/dryer. All appliances were new and clean. Comfortable beds. Peaceful, quiet, beautiful Utah!! Highly recommended "

"4 stars because advertised as pet friendly but when arrived there were signs posted in cabin about no pets on furniture/bed and penalty fee if violated. The cabin was perfect and so close to Canyonlands Needles district. Would stay again, without our dogs."

"Die Unterkunft war schön und wir haben im voraus ein Upgrade bekommen, jedoch hatten wir grosse Probleme mit der Unterkunft. Wir haben im voraus das Glamping in Monticello gebucht. Auf der Buchung, Bestätigung usw. stand auch diese Adresse (man findet dies auch noch jetzt auf div Buchungsplatformen unter dieser Adresse). Am Tag der Buchung waren wir in Monticello zum einchecken. Da bekamen wir eine E-Mail vom Host in der erneut die Adresse, Code usw. stand. Das war nun plötzlich im 1.5h entfernten Moab. Nach mehreren unbeantworteten Nachrichten und Anrufen an den Host und langem suchen nach der Unterkunft gemäss unserer Buchung, fuhren wir dann nach Moab. Die "Strasse" war eher ein Offroadweg was nirgends erwähnt war. Im Dunkeln und ohne Allrad sehr schwierig! Wir fanden dann die Unterkunft und meldeten uns wieder beim Host da wir eine Erklärung dafür wollten. Leider haben wir nie eine Antwort erhalten... Sehr schade!"
