"My family and I had the pleasure of staying at this charming lake house. The home was large, and the hardwood floors were beautiful. The backyard was PERFECT for small kids (and our dogs) to play! Lots of room to explore safely! The walk to the lake is probably about .6 miles away with a few hills, so keep that in mind. But it is a beautiful walk. I am still wearing my badge of honor scrapped knee lol. Once you get to the lake, the view was absolutely breathtaking. It was so much fun to swim in the water. Everyone loved to jump off the top of the dock. (Even my 4 year old)! Kayaks were a game changer. We had so much fun on those. 10/10 stay! "

As sisters traveling together, we found everything we needed to be comfortablein this house. A full length mirror would be a bonus. But, yes girls... this is a comfy nest for ladies, too. If in the area, we would go back."

"We enjoyed this little cabin so much. It was in the perfect location to the lake and Bob’s cafe (our favorite place to eat.) It had plenty of parking space for boats and vehicles. It had a big deck on the back of the house facing the woods and a grill, which we used 2 nights. It had everything we needed to cook and the coffee pods that they supplied were great! It was decorated so cute, looked just like the pictures, and it was very clean! The washing machine and dryer were a big plus for us as well. It was so nice to be able to wash our wet lake water swim suits and towels. Communication with the owner was wonderful and I woukd definitely stay here again! "

"My family and I really enjoyed our stay at this property. There was plenty of room for all 8 of us and 2 dogs. Each bedroom had its own bathroom. The kitchen and living room is large, plus the back deck is beautiful. I could tell from the pictures and actually seeing the house that this property suffered damage from the hurricane in 2024. The back deck is large and comfortable. The covered pool was enjoyed by all of us. We didn't get to find the path to the dock from the back of the property because there were a few large trees down, but the "guys" still got to fish and see the water after talking to the hostess. The game room was great too! It provided a lot of entertainment with the dart board, foosball table, and a selection of books and magazines. It also had its own TV for the younger folks in our party. Speaking of the hostess, Penny was lovely. I communicated to her via email, plus talked to her on the phone. She was very helpful and flexible.If we ever have to go back to the area, we will definitely consider renting this property again. Oh, the one thing that may want to be checked is the electricity in the pool house. We were swimming at night and the lights towards the end of the pool worked, but we couldn't find where to turn the lights on in the pool or for the front part of the pool. All in all, it was a great weekend for my family and me. It was a hot one, but we got to enjoy the spacious home and the pool was a big hit! "
