Esashi Vacations from $250

I personally have an issue with noisy walkers, so if your on the first floor you'll definitely hear people stomping through their room from above. Our room was okay. We had a bathroom, but was surprised in two ways. I thought upon entry there was no bathroom because of the layout (small). But there was a door that led to a bathroom that was a pretty good size. It needs a little bit of update, but it worked well. I'm american and the windows were cool. I didn't realize how it worked until checkout time. There's an inner set of windows directly in your room. Then there's a second set of windows that you have to open in order to get fresh or cool air into the room. The first set of windows were somewhat European and then the second outer set I guess maybe Japanese. My first time, but that was cool.

We stayed there for four nights. The worst part is the breakfast they served。 It is hard to continue eating there for four days . Compared to more than 30 hotels we have stayed in Hokkaido past two years, the breakfast they serve is rated S mediocre！very few choices and very poor in quality.

Very convenient to station and Mt Hakodate Nice view of harbour area. At last, a comfortable bed, a rarity in Japanese hotels. It was really appreciated.
