"Overall we are very pleased with the stay. Great location, beautiful views and nature around. The staff is very polite, the hotel is clean, but the cleaning of the rooms is rather superficial, the rooms are very nice and comfortable. Breakfast good, especially by Slovak standards. We have a few remarks: we think it's better to raise the price slightly than to charge extra for the entrance to the wellness. Wellness a bit too dark - I understand the mood issues, but too dark - it was difficult to...

"Lovely place, just off a main road so a handy break in my trip from Poprad Tatry Airport to Hlinne. Staff were friendly and helpful - and they spoke English, which was a definite advantage for me. They also have English menus. My previous stay, somewhere with no English menus or speakers, wasn't pleasant, but this stay was. Before anyone comments. I was in their country so they didn't have to speak English or have English menus - but it helps. "

"Vila Mery was a very comfortable place complete with a restaurant and a spa. We added an additional night and had to change rooms. Both were great! The owner was great at check-in. It was a little farther walk to town than I had believed, but that was OK too"

"Ok hotel in tiny vilage, area quiet but there is literally nothing nearby... All food, gas and supermarket needs Have to be gotten in Poprad 15 to 20 minutes drive away. Rooms super plain and spartan. Towels were not change daily, not sure why... Breakfast was average. Overall if You want to send a night in this area there are options in Poprad or in Strebske Pleso, there is No real reason to Look eksewhere... "

"Arrived late and struggled to get in as they had given us the wrong code and wrong room. After phoning them they also gave another wrong code and room. Finally got in after 3 attempts! Other than that, the hotel was lovely modern and fresh, good value as well. Would recommend. "

"We love our stay at Welkam. The room was nice and spacious, the style was a cozy mix of modern and old. The bathroom was very nice with a great shower, and the included breakfast was a nice spread of meats, cheeses, boiled eggs, and sweet bread that hit the spot before leaving. Great value, overall!"
