Overall, this was one of, if not the worst experiences I have had with a hotel/resort. I do not recommend at all. Most of the property and the amenities are not well maintained. For the most part, the staff were helpful and reaponsive. They were doing their best to keep things running, but the resort is way overdue for an upgrade. The AC of the kitchenette area and the downstairs bwdroom was not working. The toilets smell like swege. The furniture and beds have clear signs of wear and tear. And the biggest issue of all: the AC system is connected across the units. So when new guests came in, they started smoking, and as a result our unit was reeking of cigarettes. Our unit was on the nonsmoking side and I am almost certain that the smoking guests were in a nonsmoking unit. After a poor handling of the situation, which includes refusing to move us to a different unit because they are "fully booked", I asked to speak to the receptionist's manager. Then suddenly a vacant "emergency" unit was available. The AC of the new unit's living room was not working, which was then fixed. About an hour and a half later, we moved to the new unit. The cafe where the breakfast was ok. The AC of the billiard and bowling hall was not working. Above all, there was no reall beach to enjoy.
