Charming historic property that has been well maintained as a historic building but our shower was less than awesome as far as quality and pressure. The breakfast was good and there is coffee and tea available but only till 9pm which meant no warm drinking after an evening out. The staff was pleasant but not as personable as some of the smaller places we stayed. Overall it was a charming and unique stay but we had hoped for more on our splurge night.

Wistful location and a beautiful room. Very large with a nice sitting area, decorated with a spa like touch. Very comfy bed, waffle towels and bathrobe. Local toiletries to make you feel connected to the area. Conveniently located across the street from one of the best restaurants in St John’s the Mallard Cottage. An authentic experience all around with a luxury touch!

What a great property. Didn't know what to expect and was blown away by the attention to detail. Will be back.
