"Excellent service on arrival. The staff member provided information to us on the local area and discounts we can receive for eating at their recommended restaurant. The hotel is on a retail park, on the outskirts of the town but the shops and eateries are worth a visit. The room was basic, but clean, this was expected. The shower and basin is in the bedroom which was inconvenient when other members of the family were visiting the room. Breakfast was a basic continental offering."

It's rare to receive such a genuinely warm welcome, and it set the tone for our whole stay. The rest of the staff were equally lovely — always smiling, always happy to help, and clearly proud of their hotel. The room was comfortable and spotless, and the location is perfect for exploring Bergerac's beautiful old town, just a short stroll away.
