"This pet-friendly rental on the shore of the beautiful Deer Lake is so nice! If you're a fan of a lakefront property that's just STEPS to a sandy beach, this one's for you. Our Golden Retriever, who is possessed with swimming, had the time of his life. While the lake is super shallow and takes forever to gradually get somewhat deep, the water is amazingly clear and perfect for kayaking. The condo, which is windowed with large sliding glass doors almost all around, was comfortable and clean. The kitchen is spacious and well appointed, although I wish the sliding glass doors in the kitchen would have been openable so we could ventilate when cooking. There is a patio table with chairs pictured on the website, but it wasn't there -- perhaps it was taken over to different unit's porch. We loved sitting in the white Adirondack chairs at the water's edge, which was so lovely and peaceful at sunset. We'd love to return! "

"The property is great for us, and the host is an excellent host. The fact that we can have our dog with usis vary important. Our host has made many improvements and continues to offer a quality place without a lot of the hassle of some of the other places we have stayed in the Boyne area."
