Rockland Breakwater Lighthouse Tours

Rockland Breakwater Lighthouse was erected to guide sailors through rough waters. Still a striking feature of the landscape today, it's sure to have a few stories to tell about sailing adventures and tragedies.

Situated in Glen Cove, this longstanding beacon is worth a visit. But you'll find plenty more to discover in this area. Samoset Resort Golf Course, Maine Lighthouse Museum, and Sandy Beach are within easy reach of Rockland Breakwater Lighthouse.

It was extremely windy so we did not walk all the way out since my mom had a hurt foot and is 68 yrs old- it was an unstable walkway and u could not go in to the lighthouse- so was not worthy the trip out to it.
