Great Ryad

If you want to experience the Médina (and why wouldn’t you?), this is a great place to stay. Great service, great rooms, great view from the terrace and very nice rooms. Breakfast deserves its own award. Great jams, cheese and bread.

An amazing experience

We were high maintenance travelers on our trip to Fes, thanks to poor planning on our part. But all was not lost! Our hosts at Riyad all Atik were gracious, friendly and extremely helpful. One host stayed up to meet us and guide us to the hotel at 1am in the morning, and that next morning woke up at 630am to get us to a bus stop and sent us along with a breakfast sandwich (with jam and cheese) and water. Fortunately, we were back the next night at a much more relaxed pace. The breakfast was large and wonderful, and his explanation if the city was very helpful. He arranged taxis, tour guides, restaurant recommendations, etc. The Riyad is smack dab in the middle of the old City, and just an incredible experience. I highly recommend!

Serenity in the middle of the action

Nice place to stay in the Medina. You're close to the action but still experience serenity when you're inside this Riad. Very helpful staff, confirming our booking for us with other tour group and shared places to see and experience. Simple Moroccan breakfast is a good touch. Will definitely stay with them when I do visit again. Just a reminder, no cars are allowed in this part of Medina and you will need a cart to haul your luggage which the hotel staff will be happy to assist you.

Favorite Riad

This turned out to be our favorite Riad of our trip (out of 4). We didn't see the owner, but the gentleman who was there was very nice, albeit way too quiet. I wished he had spoken up more to provide info - he would only answer the direct question he was asked. Our room though (at the top by the patio) was really comfortable for us and had a great worn-but-clean feel. We brought an infant and they provided a crib. It was very quiet and even on the roof we couldn't much hear the loud Medina streets, but it was practically right in the middle of the best parts of the Medina. We would definitely stay there again.

Wonderful, caring staff

The staff was absolutely wonderful. My husband and daughter's bus was over 2 hrs late arriving to Fez and they arrived close to 2 am to the hotel. They were sent a taxi driver to find them and called me as soon as they arrived to the hotel so that I knew they had arrived safely. They were truly helpful and caring. The room was comfortable and nice. Highly recommend this hotel, the staff made a world of difference. Will stay here again when Fez.

Highly Recommended!

I and my 7-year-old son stayed in that riyad for 3 nights and we truly enjoyed everything about that experience. when we arrived after a 10-hour-flight, we were treated with warm Moroccan tea and pastry while waiting for the manager. Imad, the assistant manager, was extremely helpful in explaining places to visit. We asked for a guide and he made it ready for us. Breakfast was amazing. Our room was very clean, spacious and nicely decorated. the roof top was very relaxing and nicely decorated. Being located in one of the two main streets of the old Madina, makes the riyad pretty close to all tourist attractions.

Great Riyad in Fes

This Riyad lived up to all of its previous ratings. The staff were wonderful and always willing to help and were very comfortable speaking English or French. The location was perfect, right in the middle of the medina of Fes yet close to the walls so that trips outside were short walks. Breakfast included home made jams that were excellent and the dinners we had at the Riyad were great examples of Moroccan cuisine.

Una excelente opción para alojarse en Fez. La ubicación es muy buena, en plena Medina. El personal muy atento, sobretodo Rachid. Está llevado por dos chicas francesas que son muy amables también. Bonita decoración y amplias instalaciones.

Un lugar que merece la pena sin duda

Estupenda casa marroqui muy bien rehabilitada, buenas hqbitaciones muy bien decoradas, muy limpias y con un servicio estupendo, muy buenos helados caseros y todo el personal muy servicial, tqmbien te pueden guiar para hacer compras a buen precio en tiendas de confianza que no abusan de los clientes, un lugar a tener en cuenta sin dudarlo
