Rusty’s Getaway was an awesome place to stay for our daughter’s wedding weekend in Findlay! The house was VERY clean (I’m pretty particular), spacious and had everything that you could need! We loved the huge master bedroom and the on suite bathroom was super nice!! (Especially the shower!) It was an added bonus that the house is pet friendly. We got a chance to meet the owner- Jay. He was very thoughtful and talked to us about the house history… Rusty is his adorable pet cows name. If you’re looking for a great place to rent - check out Rusty’s Getaway… you won’t regret it.

Summer stay for family wedding and reunion

We had an excellent experience at Rusty's Gettaway. The hosts were very helpful and friendly. The property is beautiful, clean, and furnished with comfortable beds and furniture. The kitchen/laundry room are fully stocked, which makes the rental experience that much more relaxing and convenient. There is ample parking and a nice patio with a quality grill.We highly recommend this property and will definitely book again when we return for future family gatherings!

Rusty has a great place quick on/off I75

Very well decorated home with really friendly hosts, who showed us the amenities when we arrived. Everything was well laid out and very accessible for handicapped needs throughout the home. Wonderful stay with great hosts. Thanks you for sharing!

Expectations Exceeded

Impeccable, beautiful home. The floor plan is perfect for a family gathering. Spacious, private bedrooms. Plenty of sleeping space with several luxury air mattresses available in addition to sleeper sofas. This house could easily sleep 12 people. The kitchen was perfectly appointed. Even my adult grandchildren were impressed.

Perfect spot for a baseball tournament stay

Easter Family Reunion

The owner/Jay was wonderful. He answered all my questions and responded promptly each time. The property was perfect for our family reunion. We had 21 people for our Easter meal, games. The house was clean, very expansive and had everything to prepare the meal. The kitchen island is huge and fit everything. Many places to sit and enjoy ourselves. Bedrooms were a nice size with plenty of room, storage, and nice closets. The front and backyards were also extra space for games. Plenty of parking space too. The location was perfect. Our family also loved the home and said itcwirked out so well. The owner keeps a beautiful, well maintained property. I would highly recommend.

Finding a nice spot in Findlay

Amazing house. Host met us there at check in to show us around and share the history with us. Me and my friends were beyond happy with this house. We all would definitely reccomend staying here.

Labor of Love

Jay met us at the property and gave us an in-depth tour of the home he build in memory of his father, and what a spacious and well appointed home it is! It is well stocked with just about everything a person might need including spices for cooking, coffee, new appliances, toys, a grill, and so much more. The master shower is massive and can easily accommodate persons with disabilities. The neighborhood is quiet and a short drive into town. Jay himself was easy to communicate with and an excellent host in every way- he even invited us to his farm to hang out with his miniature horses and 5 black cats among other animals, but when it came time to leave he insisted there were no chores to be done! We often stay at Vrbos domestic and international and we have never not had to do chores at check-out, nor have we been in a home as beautiful as his. Without hesitation we will be booking this property every time we come home for a visit!

Family trip

We visited our daughter who attends University of Findlay with our family. The house was beautiful, clean, spacious, and well stocked! The hosts were nice and accommodating, we will definitely stay here again!

Great house for family gathering

House was impeccably decorated and very clean. Kitchen has all the supplies you would have in your own kitchen. Extra space in the finished garage was very comfortable. Jay was very sweet, there when we arrived to show us all the amenities in the home. Definitely would stay again!

Great property, location and host

The property is as advertised and more. Spacious, comfortable, clean well stocked with more than expected. The location is convenient and quiet. Jay is an outstanding host who not only is responsive but genuinely wants guests to have an excellent stay. Not having a list of tasks to complete for checkout was a welcome surprise. Great stay!

Perfect Getaway Spot – Can’t Wait to Stay Again!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this amazing house, and I can't say enough good things about it! The place was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed for a perfect getaway. The location was ideal—quiet and peaceful, but close enough to explore the local area. The hosts went above and beyond, making sure we felt right at home. From the comfy beds to the fully equipped kitchen, every detail was thoughtfully taken care of. I would definitely stay here again without hesitation. Highly recommend!

Convenient Location and Fully Equipped

Though we were gone all day, each morning we relaxed and enjoyed sipping our coffee in the windowed dining room. There was plenty of room in the evenings for our Ohio relatives to stop by and visit. We discussed our only concern with Jay which was the need for handicapped bars in the beautiful walk-in shower which he was already working on addressing. With our group make-up, the third bed being a sofa bed in the office/living-room/ TV room was a bit of an inconvenience. Overall a great place to stay!
